Board of Management

MYSA is strongly committed to an ethos of accountability, transparency and continued service improvement that underpins its governance and quality assurance processes. It is this commitment to high service standards and an outcomes-focused approach that has established MYSA as the state representative advisory, advocacy and service delivery body for multicultural youth. Its work with young people from refugee backgrounds, their families and new and emerging communities; international students; and other groups of vulnerable and at risk young people, continues to gain prominence at the state and national levels as MYSA expands its operations and service focus while actively ensuring that the spotlight remains on young humanitarian entrants in particular and the range of issues impacting on their settlement and wellbeing.

Role of the Board

  • Manage the finances and assets of the organisation
  • Monitor and manage risks
